I've never taken a phone apart, and I don't plan to. I just keep wondering about the things I use every day — why a battery would rather sit between 20% and 80%, or how TVs got cheaper and better at the same time. The questions come back every few months and go unanswered.

write tohello@loosecables.inEvery post ends with a ledger of its own claims. Nothing is written anonymously and then asserted — each checkable statement is listed, graded, and linked to wherever I got it. There are three grades.
I read it at the primary source — a manufacturer's own specification page, a filing, a standard, or a measurement somebody ran and published in full.
A credible outlet or analyst says so and I have no reason to doubt them, but nobody involved has confirmed it on the record. A good explanation rather than a proven one.
I went looking and could not stand it up. It stays in the ledger anyway, because a missing number is a finding and quietly dropping it would be the dishonest option.
Where I got something wrong and fixed it before publishing, the ledger says that too.
